Method
I work on situations where a model looks correct but cannot demonstrate a requirement, produce a reliable export or prepare a structured handover. The starting point is the real context: intended use, available files, project phase and responsibilities.
Checks may cover IFC, IDS, ISO 19650, eCCC-Bât and CFC according to the supplied requirements. They distinguish what can be verified in the export, what belongs to a project convention and what requires a decision from the owner or project parties.
When a verification or data transformation becomes recurrent, I can formalise it as a Revit plugin, Python script or business application. The tool is scoped with its inputs, outputs, documentation and operating limits.
Each assignment follows the same logic: identify the project's real requirements, check IFC data against those requirements (IDS, ISO 19650, eCCC-Bât / CFC), prioritise issues by impact, then deliver a traceable result — report, BCF or compliance table — that teams can correct in their own tools.
Independence: what I do not do
- No modelling on behalf of design teams: the audit remains independent from production.
- No software sales: checks rely on open standards such as IFC, IDS, BCF and COBie.
- No certification: the Training / Test page is independent preparation and is not affiliated with buildingSMART.
- No invented figures: demonstrations on the site are clearly labelled simulations.
